Posted: Coming up on Monday is our last meeting of the 2009 season. After that meeting, we kick into competition mode (Championship event = super competition mode) and prepare for long days with more to do than humanely possible.
Looking ahead to that date, one cannot help but look back at how far we have come since the January kickoff. Team 930 and her members have had so many ups and downs, both individual and group-wide.
A sense of pride arises when a member looks back and sees how far each and every team member has come since kickoff. The rookies are now essential members of the team. After this event, we will all prepare for yet another season of sweet brutality.
At competition, we plan to keep our team’s account of what is going on as accurate and complete as possible so that we can look back in months, years, decades from now and think back to these few but great moments in our lives.
After Monday, Atlanta better be ready for us. Wednesday morning we will be at her door step, and team 930 will NOT be backing down.
